Troy, MI – February 6, 2012 – ASSEMBLY, Quality, Adhesives & Sealants Industry, appliance DESIGN and World Trade 100 magazines present the second annual Tech ManufactureXPO on May 2 from 8:30am - 3:30pm EDT.
Are you limited by time and budget constraints but hungry to hear from manufacturing experts, view new products and spec sheets, network with peers and visit multiple suppliers all in one trip? Tech ManufactureXPO, THE virtual expo for the manufacturing industry, is the solution and is offering registration, including educational sessions, free of charge.
Attendees from last year’s virtual expo said: “The convenience was most useful. I attended for the Harry Moser seminar but ended up looking at a number of booths. I will be passing some information along to my engineers as a result of the visit so that they can engage with the vendors to determine application feasibility”. - Quality Manager, Stanley Black and Decker, and “I enjoyed the show, this was the first virtual show I had been to and it was much better than what I first imagined it to be. It was very informative and a great use of technology since at times it is difficult to travel to get to these types of shows.” – Manufacturing Engineer, Electronic Theatre Controls
Trends from Design to Delivery
Manufacturing remains a driver of innovation and job creation, even as automation and technology make manufacturing more efficient. The United States must implement sound policies to grow the manufacturing sector. At 9:00 a.m. EDT attend the keynote, MAKE: An American Manufacturing Movement, presented by Jack McDougle, to hear detailed strategy for a manufacturing renaissance in America. The day continues with webinars on handling mechatronics, using CAD to inspect non-contact technology, and assembly strategies. Each 60-minute session includes a Q&A with presenters.
According to the World Bank, two of the four most costly natural disasters in history occurred in 2011: the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan in March and the massive floods that inundated Thailand from July to December. Join an exclusive Lunch-n-Learn session, Preparing for Supply Chain Disruptions, in the Networking Lounge at 12:30 p.m. EDT to discuss this topic with the Editors and your peers. Drill down into more detailed topics by listening to 15-minute how-to podcasts available throughout the day in the Auditorium.
Exhibit Hall hours will span the length of the show from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. EDT. Browse supplier booths and connect with reps using group chat. Be sure to visit the eFlex by Elite Engineering booth at the show to chat with our products experts.

What is a Virtual Event?
A virtual event is a gathering of people sharing a common environment online to create an interactive experience similar to a conventional trade show. Attendees can interact with booth personnel, network with peers, watch video product demonstrations and webinars, and download product catalogs or other documents into their virtual briefcase, just as you would at a conventional trade show. Since virtual trade shows can be attended by the entire team from a single computer, cost of travel, lodging and time away from the office issues are essentially eliminated.
